Broke down , Leopard here we come...

We bought a brand new shiney SS case with an Apple logo on it this past weekend. Amy will be the test subject. (Birthday present for here :-) Mounted NFS over GigE of course to a NetApp. Can move over 400GB an hour! Set up Time Machine which is the equivelent of snapshots or M$ VSS services. Slapped in 1TB (Fry's $200 Bucks) + 500GB + 80GB +40GB Sata II Drives) in 5 min. The inside is better built than any server I have ever laid my hand on! I am impressed so far.

I guess since it is now a true pc with Intel non -propriotary junk in it, that justifies the purchase now, to make the switch. Mr. Gates won't be happy, since I am a poster child for M$...

>BOOT ORDER at start up?
No real BIOS here, or at least I haven't found one yet. Some kind of EFI that people speak of in toungues. If you need use boot camp and \or some VM software I suggest Parallel's. It kills the rest of them.

TIP>>If you loose your boot order at start up hold down the option key which is Alt' on Windows keyboards at start up. This will let you choose your start up disk once again. Whew... that took 30min. of trial by error.

Yes that is the equivelent of Windows Explorer... a bit better I would say...

it's brand new and you've already managed to hack it so you lost boot order?

Sounds like ontap.
